Sichuan Deyang Holds a Public Welfare Event to Care for New Employment Groups

On July 31, the public welfare donation event “Xinshan Sichuan · Summer Cool Relief,” which cares for new employment groups such as couriers and food delivery riders, was held in Deyang, Sichuan. The event was jointly organized by the Sichuan Federation of New Social Class People and other units, and aimed to send greetings and support to frontline workers who remained at their posts in the heat. According to reports, members of the Sichuan Federation of New Social Class People raised nearly 30,000 yuan in total and donated 900 cooling kits and 200 cartons of mineral water, covering frontline riders and couriers at various delivery stations in the Deyang Economic Development Zone. The organizers said they hope to convey care through this public welfare initiative and enhance the sense of gain among new employment groups. The Sichuan Federation of New Social Class People said that in the next step, it will continue to carry out public welfare activities around new employment groups, promote the participation of more social resources in service efforts, and bring together social forces that “support the new through the new, and stand by one another in mutual assistance.”
