Actor Ryu Junyeol shared his thoughts on working with Sul Kyunggu for the first time in an interview about the Netflix series 'Mole'.
Ryu Junyeol said that through the work, he played Moon Jae, a man who lost everything overnight and had his identity taken away, and filmed alongside Sul Kyunggu, who plays the loan shark No Ja, and Lee Kyoohyung, who plays the detective Sunyong.
He said he had had several chances to meet Sul Kyunggu through different projects, but they never came to fruition, and that after changes at his agency, meeting him in 'Mole' felt almost like fate. He also added that he learned a lot from Sul Kyunggu on set, both as an actor and as a person.
'Mole' is a chase thriller based on the webtoon of the same name, and tells the story of a novelist who has lost his name, face, and life, a loan shark looking for missing money, and a detective pursuing a mysterious figure.
