Regarding the Japanese Embassy in the Philippines making remarks on the activity of Philippine government vessels in waters near Xianbin Jiao in the Nansha Islands, Jiang Bin said that the relevant facts are clear, and the Japanese side should not echo the Philippine side's claims or confuse right and wrong without understanding the situation.
Jiang Bin also pointed out that Japan has recently continued to strengthen military cooperation with the Philippines, including providing weapons and equipment to the Philippine side and sending troops to participate in joint exercises. Such actions will heighten regional tensions. China urges the Japanese side to stop stirring up trouble on the South China Sea issue and to stop undermining peace and stability in the South China Sea.
