The Ministry of Water Resources has raised the flood prevention emergency response for Liaoning and Jilin to Level III
The mountain flood warning in Liaoning and Jilin has been upgraded to Level III, with a high risk under red alerts in 28 counties, cities, and districts. Pay attention to the latest flood conditions and prevention advisories, take shelter in time, and reduce the impact of mountain flood disasters
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, at 18:00 on July 13, the flood control Level IV emergency response for Liaoning and Jilin provinces was raised to Level III.
The Ministry of Water Resources said that, according to the forecast, from 20:00 on July 13 to 20:00 on July 14, the meteorological risk of flash flood disasters in 28 counties (cities, districts) in Liaoning's Benxi, Fushun, Tieling, Dandong, Liaoyang, and Shenyang, as well as Jilin's Baishan, Jilin, Liaoyuan, Tonghua, and Yanbian, will reach the red warning level, and another 8 counties (cities, districts) will reach the orange warning level. Strong rainfall is also expected in the relevant areas, and since these areas overlap with flash floodprone zones, the risk of flash flood disasters is relatively high.
The Ministry of Water Resources has adjusted the emergency response level according to changes in the flood situation, and has reminded the relevant regions to strengthen preventive measures and response efforts.
