Minsk, June 8 (Xinhua) — From June 6 to 8, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng paid a visit to Belarus, during which he separately met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, and First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov in Minsk. Han Zheng said that ChinaBelarus relations have maintained a good momentum of development in recent years, and that the two sides should continue to strengthen the guiding role of headofstate diplomacy, deepen political mutual trust, expand cooperation in trade and investment, industry, and make highquality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative an important lever to promote continual new progress in cooperation. The Belarusian side said that Belarus attaches great importance to its relations with China and is willing to continue advancing highlevel exchanges, practical cooperation, and peopletopeople and cultural exchanges with the Chinese side, support coordination between the two sides in international affairs, and welcome more Chinese enterprises to invest and do business in Belarus. During the visit, Han Zheng also attended the ChinaBelarus Industry and Investment Cooperation Forum and related economic and trade activities, laid a wreath at the Victory Monument, and inspected the Belarus Agricultural Exhibition.
