Two Suspects in Busan Subway Graffiti Flee Overseas

It has been confirmed that the two suspects who left graffiti on a Busan subway train and fled the scene have left the country. Police are pushing ahead with a plan to have them repatriated to South Korea through an Interpol Red Notice. The Busan Gangseo Police have been tracking an Australian man in his 20s, identified as A, and a Belgian man in his 30s, identified as B, on charges of trespassing into the Daejeo rolling stock depot of the Busan Transportation Corporation in the early hours of the 23rd and scrawling graffiti on the exterior of a Line 3 subway train. It was also found that the two attempted to avoid detection by wearing masks and changing clothes several times. Based on CCTV footage and other evidence, police searched their lodging in Seoul, but confirmed that they had departed for Brunei via Incheon International Airport the previous day. Police are also considering the possibility of filing a damages claim and said that in past similar cases, there have been instances where restoration costs were recovered.
