Chen Wenqing visits Kazakhstan to promote China-Kazakhstan law enforcement and security cooperation and the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative Deepen political mutual trust and practical cooperation, helping bilateral relations reach a new level

Astana, June 1 (Xinhua) — Chen Wenqing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, visited Kazakhstan from May 29 to June 1. During the visit, he separately met with Kazakhstan's Secretary of the Security Council Nurdauletov, Almaty Mayor Satbaldy, and others. Chen Wenqing said that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, ChinaKazakhstan political mutual trust has continued to deepen, practical cooperation has been continuously strengthened, and highquality Belt and Road cooperation has made positive progress. The Chinese side is willing to continue advancing law enforcement and security cooperation with the Kazakh side and to consolidate the foundation of friendship between the two countries through more peopletopeople exchanges.
