A report was received that three wild boars were spotted on the barefoot walking trail near Sudeoksa Temple on Apsan in Bongdeokdong, Namgu, Daegu, on the afternoon of the 4th.
The relevant authorities carried out onsite checks and began capture operations, and as of now, no human casualties have been reported.
Namgu has strengthened patrols in the surrounding area for residents' safety and sent out safety advisory text messages. It also urged people to be careful when taking nighttime walks or hiking, and to not approach wild boars if they are spotted and to report them immediately.
