On July 15, Vice President Han Zheng of China met in Beijing with former New Zealand Prime Minister John Key.
Han Zheng said that the Chinese side appreciates John Key's longstanding contributions to the development of ChinaNew Zealand relations. At present, the ChinaNew Zealand comprehensive strategic partnership has entered its second decade, and the space for cooperation between the two sides has further expanded. John Key said that China's continued development has brought market opportunities to New Zealand, and New Zealand attaches great importance to its relationship with China, hoping that the two sides will jointly address regional and global challenges through dialogue and cooperation.
