Zhuque-2 Improved Yao-6 Rocket Successfully Launches Two Satellites

At 16:23 on June 9, Beijing time, the Zhuque2 Improved Yao6 launch vehicle developed by LandSpace launched from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Test Area and subsequently placed the Qianfan DTC01 satellite and China Mobile 02 satellite into their predetermined orbit, achieving mission success. This launch was the 8th flight of the Zhuque2 series rockets, and also reflects the continued participation of China's privately owned commercial space enterprises in launch missions related to satellite internet. Reports noted that this mission helps promote iterative upgrades of satellite internet and applications for a broader range of users. The Zhuque2 Improved Yao6 rocket has a diameter of 3.35 meters, a fairing with a maximum diameter of 4.2 meters, and a payload capacity of 6 tons to low Earth orbit and 4 tons to a 500kilometer sunsynchronous orbit. It is the main model among domestically active mediumlift liquid oxygenmethane launch vehicles, and can support launch requirements such as multiple satellites on one rocket and highfrequency constellation deployment.
