The China Association for Science and Technology elects 348 members of the new National Committee

The Third Plenary Meeting of the 11th National Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on July 10, and the meeting elected 348 members of the 11th National Committee of CAST. The meeting also reviewed and adopted relevant resolutions on the work report of the 10th National Committee, amendments to the charter, and the development plan for the "15th FiveYear Plan" period. The relevant resolutions held that the summary of CAST's work over the past five years was relatively comprehensive, and the development arrangements for the next five years were also relatively clear and practical. The congress successfully completed all items on the agenda and concluded on the same day. The meeting emphasized that it will continue to focus on the goal of building China into a science and technology powerhouse, give full play to the role of CAST organizations as a bridge and link, and unite and lead the vast number of science and technology workers in advancing related work.
