Hubei’s First Batch of “Flying Tigers Friendship Schools” Awarded Plaques

On July 3, Hubei's first batch of 6 "Flying Tigers Friendship Schools" received their plaques in Wuhan. The list includes Wuhan University of Technology, Hubei University, the High School Affiliated to Wuhan University, the First Affiliated High School of Central China Normal University, Hong'an No. 1 Middle School, and the No. 1 Middle School of Yunyang District, Shiyan City. On the same day, the "2026 Flying Tigers Youth Leaders Dialogue" was held at Wuhan University of Technology. Young people from China and the United States held dialogue on cultural exchanges, technological development, and green issues. Recently, Jeff Green, chairman of the USChina Aviation Heritage Foundation, led descendants of Flying Tigers veterans and teachers and students from the United States on a visit to Wuhan to take part in the "Flying Tigers Friendship Envoys: U.S. Youth Visit to Hubei" event. Reports show that since the Flying Tigersrelated project was launched in 2022, it has promoted exchanges and mutual visits between Chinese and American youths through the friendship school mechanism. The organizers said that they will continue to expand exchange activities between students from the two countries and promote mutual understanding.
