As recordbreaking heat waves continue, the southern region is also suffering from drought, leading to a shortage of agricultural water.
On the 29th, the bottom of Baegan Reservoir in Muanmyeon, Miryangsi, Gyeongnam, was exposed with cracks, and according to the Rural Water Comprehensive Information System of the Korea Rural Community Corporation, the reservoir storage rate was tallied at 1.1%. The agricultural water drought stage has risen to the 'warning' level.
