The 2026 Seoul International Garden Expo has opened in the Seoul Forest area. This event will continue until October 27, with a total of 167 gardens created around Seoul Forest, the Han River, Seongsu, and Gwangjin.
At the expo, Pokémon Korea is also operating a collaborative space, 'Pokémon Secret Forest,' prepared to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the animation. This exhibition is free to visit until June 21 and is composed of handson zones such as Pikachu Forest and Phantom Cabin.
On the first day of the event, the 1st, more than 40,000 people gathered around Seoul Forest and Seongsu Station, and some operations were briefly suspended. Due to congestion on site, the organizers are readjusting operations by modifying some programs, including the stamp rally.
