Son Heungmin (LA FC) will compete in the 2026 MLS AllStar Game. The MLS office announced the 29man AllStar roster on the 9th, and Son Heungmin was included on the list after already being selected through fan voting. The AllStar Game will be held on July 30 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, where the MLS AllStars will face the Liga MX AllStars. The roster also includes Lionel Messi (Inter Miami), Thomas Müller (Vancouver Whitecaps), and Rodrigo De Paul (Inter Miami), among others. There is also the possibility that Son Heungmin will play on the same team as Messi, drawing the attention of soccer fans. However, in Messi's case, his participation remains uncertain for now as it could conflict with the schedule of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. Son Heungmin recently returned home after finishing the World Cup and is taking a rest, and he is expected to head back to LA soon to begin preparations for the match against LA Galaxy.
