Mirae Asset reviews compensation for SpaceX subscription failure
Mirae Asset Securities reviews the progress of the SpaceX IPO and compensation for investors, expanding compensation Possible annual 10% interest on funds tied up due to the failed subscription... attention on the scale of compensation
Mirae Asset Securities is considering a plan to pay accrued interest to individual professional investors whose SpaceX initial public offering (IPO) subscription fell through.
The company is actively reviewing a plan to apply interest at around 10% per year for investors whose funds were tied up for a certain period because final allocations were not made in the SpaceX public offering subscription conducted last month. In the industry, the compensation amount is estimated to reach about 1.42 billion won based on the portion allocated to individual investors.
This subscription was conducted for individuals, corporations, and institutions, but it fell through because there was not enough sellable volume available at the final allocation stage. Mirae Asset Securities has since fully refunded all subscription deposits and is continuing its internal review regarding compensation for investor inconvenience.
