At around 4 p.m. on the 4th, a report was received that three wild boars had been spotted on the barefoot walking trail near Sudeoksa Temple on Apsan in Bongdeokdong, Namgu, Daegu.
Authorities went to the scene to verify the situation, and so far no human casualties have been reported. Namgu is strengthening patrols in the surrounding area for residents' safety and carrying out wild boar capture operations.
The Namgu Office sent a safety alert to nearby residents, urging caution when walking or hiking at night, and advised them not to approach any wild boars if spotted and to report them immediately.
