Tianjin’s wheat harvest has fully begun, with intelligent farm machinery投入 into the “Three Summer” production

Tianjin's 2026 "Three Summers" mechanized production and straw comprehensive utilization onsite promotion meeting was held on June 11 in Xiaowangzhuang Town, Binhai New Area, marking the full launch of the local wheat harvest. This event focused on the comprehensive utilization of straw and food security assurance. On site, more than 70 sets of machinery and equipment brought by 30 agricultural machinery companies were showcased in a concentrated display, including 32 sets of smart, efficient, advanced, and practical agricultural machinery, and activities such as operation demonstrations and skills competitions were also arranged. The mechanized wheat harvest in Tianjin has taken the lead in Binhai New Area and Jizhou District, and the harvesting work will advance from south to north, with largescale completion expected around June 25. Local efforts are also being stepped up to inspect and repair machinery, train machine operators, and coordinate with transportation, meteorology, public security, and other departments to improve emergency support, striving to ensure that the summer grain is fully brought in from the fields.
