On July 6, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently allocated 160 million yuan in central disaster relief funds for natural disasters, supporting six provinces and autonomous regions—Guangxi, Hunan, Liaoning, Jilin, Anhui, and Shandong—to carry out flood and geological disaster rescue and relief work.
This funding will be mainly used for search and rescue, relocation and resettlement of affected residents, elimination of hazards and risks, investigation of secondary disaster risks, emergency remediation, and repair of collapsed and damaged rural houses, with the aim of reducing the impact of the disaster as soon as possible and safeguarding the safety of people's lives and property.
