On the night of the 25th, a power outage occurred at an apartment in Haeundaegu, Busan, briefly trapping four residents in an elevator.
According to Busan City and others, around 8:40 p.m. the previous day, electricity was cut off at the apartment, where about 790 households live, and three elevators in the complex stopped. The trapped residents were all able to get out after power was restored about 20 minutes later.
Air conditioners also did not work, so residents experienced discomfort in the tropical heat, and electricity was restored after about two hours. The outage is reported to have been caused by a problem with the apartment's internal electrical equipment.
