Ministry of National Defense: International Cadets Science and Technology Week Will Be Held at the National University of Defense Technology

The Ministry of National Defense said that the 2026 International Cadet Science and Technology Week, themed “Future·Military Science and Technology,” will be held from September 20 to 27 at the National University of Defense Technology in Changsha. Cadet representatives from military academies in Pakistan, Laos, Egypt, Oman, Kazakhstan, Serbia, and other countries will attend the event.
The theme of the event is “Deepening Friendship, Highlighting Science and Technology, Exchange and Interaction, and Promoting Cooperation.” During the event, exchanges will be held on topics such as the impact of the development of military science and technology on the qualities required of military personnel, and how cuttingedge technology helps peaceful development. Academic seminars, scientific research practice, and cultural experiences will also be arranged.
The Ministry of National Defense said this is the third time China has hosted the event, aiming to build a platform for exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign military academies in the fields of military education and science and technology, and to promote friendship and cooperation among cadets.
