Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, June 25 — The 69th Chairpersons' Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress was held on the afternoon of the 25th at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, presided over by Zhao Leji.
The meeting heard a report on the deliberations of the relevant draft bills and motions, including the draft revision of the Trademark Law, the draft decision to amend the Certified Public Accountants Law, and the draft decision on authorizing the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to exercise jurisdiction over the Hong Kong side port area of the Huanggang Port and related extension areas, and reviewed the relevant revised drafts.
The meeting also heard a report on the review of the draft central final accounts for 2025 and the 2025 central final accounts report, and deliberated the draft text of the resolution on approving the 2025 central final accounts.
In addition, the meeting heard a report on the review of the qualifications of individual deputies and the motions on appointments and removals. The meeting decided to submit the abovementioned revised draft texts and other items to the Standing Committee meeting for deliberation.
