National Corpus Innovation Ecosystem Alliance Launches in Beijing

The National Corpus Innovation Ecosystem Alliance has been launched to promote the co-construction and sharing of high-quality scientific and technological corpora. Standards, platforms, and journals were released to support collaborative innovation and application implementation for AI4S.

On September 29, the national corpus innovation ecosystem alliance initiated by the National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was officially launched in Beijing, along with the release of achievements such as the corpus standards and specifications, the Aocang Corpus Community Service Platform, and the Englishlanguage academic journal AI Corpus Research. According to reports, the alliance, themed "Cobuilding a Corpus Ecosystem, Cocreating an Intelligent Future," aims to build a collaborative platform across institutions, fields, and industrial chains around highquality scientific and technological corpora, promoting resource sharing, collaborative development, and innovative applications. A relevant person in charge at the Chinese Academy of Sciences said that scientific and technological corpora have become an important foundation supporting model training, scientific reasoning, and knowledge discovery. The alliance's first batch consists of 50 coconstruction units, covering national laboratories, research institutes, data and literature resource institutions, local governments, as well as units in fields such as artificial intelligence, data infrastructure, publishing, and knowledge services. Next, the alliance will focus on advancing the coconstruction of highquality scientific and technological corpora, exploring public service mechanisms, coordinating infrastructure, building standards and trustworthy governance, and jointly validating AI4S models and application scenarios.
