Beijing's transport authorities take multiple measures to ensure smooth travel for the college entrance examination

The Beijing transportation authorities have introduced a number of support measures before and after the 2026 college entrance examination, focusing on buses, the subway, taxis, ridehailing services, and order around examination sites, to make travel more convenient for candidates and parents. These arrangements will be implemented during the examination period from June 7 to 10, with a focus on improving transport support and the level of quiet around examination sites. For buses, the 414 routes passing through areas around examination sites will increase service capacity during exam hours, and flexible scheduling measures such as temporary skipstop service or detours will be adopted at some stops; at the same time, buses passing exam sites will not honk, and onboard stopannouncement loudspeakers will be turned off. For the subway, candidates and parents can enjoy the "three priorities" green channel service with their admission ticket, including priority ticket purchase, priority security checks, and priority entry. The 82 stations near examination sites will also add staff and set up assistance service desks. Taxis and ridehailing services will also step up support. The Beijing taxi industry will carry out the "love to send candidates to the exam" service for the 19th consecutive year, and some fleets will provide appointmentbased pickup and dropoff as well as free examescort services for candidates; ridehailing platforms will give priority dispatching to orders for examination sites. At the same time, construction that may generate noise around examination sites will be suspended, enforcement inspections will be strengthened, and sharedbike dispatching will also be adjusted temporarily to maintain traffic order and a quiet environment during the exams.
