On September 7, the Sichuan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision announced that Li Haiying, former Party secretary and chairman of Sichuan Airlines Group Co., Ltd., is under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation on suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law.
Publicly available resume information shows that Li Haiying was born in June 1961 in Kaifeng, Henan Province. He worked for Sichuan Airlines and related enterprises for a long period, and had served as Party secretary and chairman of Sichuan Airlines Group, among other positions. He retired in February 2023.
