Chinese scientific research institutions release three commercial space achievements
Commercial space achievements release: SAR payload, space traffic management platform, and orbital measurement system Supports micro-satellite networking and low-Earth-orbit applications, helping industrial transformation and space safety
On September 19, the Qilu Aerospace Information Research Institute, under the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, announced in Beijing the concentrated release of three achievements in the commercial aerospace field: an advanced SAR satellite payload, an integrated space traffic management service platform, and a precise orbital measurement service system for lowEarthorbit satellites.
Among them, the advanced SAR satellite payload emphasizes multipolarization imaging, lightweight design, and modular capabilities. It can support commercial smallsatellite constellations and be used in scenarios such as national land surveys, geological disaster monitoring, marine observation, and agricultural yield estimation. The integrated space traffic management service platform, on the other hand, is designed for complex space environments, providing capabilities such as situational awareness, risk identification, response decisionmaking, and simulationbased analysis, supporting satellite constellation operation management and space security assurance.
The lowEarthorbit satellite precise orbital measurement service system focuses on improving realtime inorbit measurement and shortterm orbit prediction capabilities, and can provide centimeterlevel orbital information support for commercial lowEarthorbit satellites used in satellite internet, remote sensing, meteorology, and navigation enhancement. The institute said that these three achievements reflect the accumulation of relevant technologies and also provide support for achievement transformation and the development of the commercial aerospace industry.
