Bian Chenglin, former Party Secretary of Guangxi Minzu University, is expelled from the Party and dismissed from office

According to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, and with the approval of the regional Party committee, Bian Chenglin, former Party secretary of Guangxi Minzu University, has been placed under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation for serious violations of discipline and law. The notice said that Bian Chenglin had lost his ideals and convictions, violated the Party's political discipline, integrity discipline, and conduct discipline, and was involved in resisting organizational review, accepting gifts and consumer cards, and accepting dinners and travel arrangements. The investigation also showed that Bian Chenglin was suspected of using his position to seek利益 for others in matters such as contracting engineering projects, and of illegally accepting huge sums of money and property. He has been expelled from the Party and removed from public office. The suspected criminal issues and related property will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for handling in accordance with the law.
