The HandyRay Gloo laser blood sampler reduces pain during blood collection for diabetes patients Check blood glucose management conveniently with accuracy verification and app integration

Rameditech has developed a laser blood lancet called ‘HandyRay Glo’ to reduce blood draw pain for diabetes patients. This product works by placing the device on a finger and pressing a button to use laser heat to make tiny holes in the skin and collect blood. The company explained that it causes less stinging than conventional blood draw methods and is also less likely to cause wounds or calluses. It also highlighted that the laser sterilization effect can help reduce concerns about infection. The collected blood is applied to a test strip to check blood sugar levels, and when linked with an application, it can manage up to 1,000 blood sugar records. The product is registered as a medical device with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and has received several patents and domestic and international certifications. In a clinical trial conducted at Korea University Ansan Hospital, 97.8% accuracy was confirmed among 100 diabetes patients, and the related study was published in an international academic journal.
