On the 29th, in the artificial waterway at Busan North Port Waterfront Park, Busan City and related agencies, including the Coast Guard, carried out a rescue operation to send the shark “Bukangi” back into the sea.
Authorities tried to guide the shark with a water pump, but as Bukangi did not leave the waterway, they suspended the operation around 3:20 p.m. that day.
The relevant agencies plan to try the rescue operation again around the 2nd of next month, using a net.
