On the 6th, the Foreign Ministry announced that, at the invitation of Costa Rica, Chen Xiaodong, Special Envoy of President Xi Jinping and Director of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, will travel to San José, the capital of Costa Rica, to attend the presidential transition ceremony held there from May 7 to 8.
This means that the Chinese side will send a special envoy to participate in activities related to the inauguration of Costa Rica's new president, reflecting the two sides' continued normal highlevel exchanges and diplomatic communication.
