Samsung Electronics unveiled its new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, at 'Galaxy Unpacked 2026' held in London, UK. The key point of both products is that they have enhanced AIbased health management features.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 features a bright display with up to 5,000 nits of brightness and a Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset. Its battery capacity has been increased compared to the previous model, and it is thinner, improving comfort. It also offers enhanced water and dust resistance, and is tailored for outdoor activities with additions such as dive certification, underwater measurement functions, and trail running features.
The Galaxy Watch9 is a model aimed at everyday health management, analyzing heart rate and respiration rate during sleep and providing AIbased sleep apnea detection and heart health score checking features. Through these two products, Samsung Electronics plans to target demand for both exercise and health monitoring at the same time.
