Qinghai News Net Xining, August 5 — During the 15th FiveYear Plan period, Haidong City will incorporate the construction of a green and organic agricultural and livestock product output base into the city's overall development plan, focusing on leveraging its distinctive resource advantages such as cool climate, seleniumrich soils, and ecological conditions to promote the development of agriculture in the direction of industrialization and branding.
Located in eastern Qinghai, Haidong City has conditions such as a plateau cool climate, seleniumrich land, and the Huangshui River seed industry. The local government plans to rely on the three major industrial belts of Chuanshui, Qianshan, and Naoshan to develop advantageous categories such as coolclimate vegetables and coldwater fish, and to enhance industrial competitiveness through green breeding and planting, intensive processing, and circular development.
At the same time, Haidong will promote the construction of "one county, one industry" and fullindustrychain standards, improve the agricultural and animal husbandry industry system around leading industries and local specialty categories, and cultivate modern agricultural and animal husbandry industrial clusters. The locality will also strengthen brand building for "Haidong CoolClimate Vegetables" and "Qinghai Lamian," and expand markets through channels such as direct sales, front warehouses, and overseas warehouses, promoting distinctive agricultural products to further enter domestic and international markets.
