Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with visiting Singaporean Parliament Speaker Seah Kian Peng in Beijing on June 12.
Han Zheng said that China and Singapore are friendly neighbors and important cooperative partners. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Singaporean side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen strategic communication, expand highquality cooperation, promote peopletopeople ties, advance further development of the bilateral forwardlooking partnership, and continue to strengthen coordination within multilateral frameworks.
Seah Kian Peng said that Singapore attaches great importance to its relations with China, is willing to continue deepening bilateral cooperation, and firmly pursues the oneChina policy.
