On June 24, the Standing Committee of the Ningbo Municipal People’s Congress in Zhejiang decided to accept Tang Feifan’s request to resign as mayor of Ningbo and appointed Shen Mingquan as vice mayor and acting mayor of Ningbo.
Public information shows that Shen Mingquan was born in December 1970 and once served as Party Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. In 2021, while serving as Party Secretary of Anji County, Zhejiang Province, he was awarded the title of "National Outstanding County Party Secretary."
