On May 7, the National Health Commission and 8 other departments issued the "Implementation Opinions on Reforming and Improving the Supply and Guarantee Mechanism for Pediatric Medicines," proposing 16 specific measures in areas such as pediatric drug research and development, clinical use, allocation management, rational drug use, and pharmaceutical services. These implementation opinions aim to enhance the guarantee capacity for medicines used in the prevention and treatment of childhood diseases, further alleviate practical needs in the supply and use of pediatric medicines, and promote a more stable and standardized supply of pediatric drugs. Relevant departments said they will comprehensively improve the capacity of pediatric medicine supply and use by improving mechanisms and strengthening management, so as to better meet children's needs for medical treatment and medication.
