According to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the third round of the sixth batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspections has officially begun. With approval from the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, this batch of inspections will be carried out by 7 central ecological and environmental protection inspection teams, who will be dispatched to 7 provinces and regions: Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Tibet, and Xinjiang, as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The inspection period will be 1 month.
The heads and deputy heads of this inspection round have already been identified, and each team will carry out work around issues related to ecological and environmental protection. During the inspection period, the relevant inspection teams will set up telephone hotlines and postal mailboxes respectively to receive letters, calls, and reports from the supervised entities regarding ecological and environmental protection.
The Ministry of Ecology and Environment said that this round of inspections will adhere to a problemoriented approach and be advanced in accordance with laws and regulations, further implement the spirit of the Central Committee's EightPoint Regulation and the requirement to reduce burdens on基层 through rectifying formalism, and promote the inspections to be carried out in an orderly and effective manner.
