The National Development and Reform Commission allocates 100 million yuan to support emergency recovery in Guangxi after the typhoon

According to a July 6 report by China News Service, the National Development and Reform Commission recently made an emergency allocation of 100 million yuan in central budgetary investment to support emergency recovery work in Guangxi after the typhoon disaster. The report quoted a message from the NDRC's WeChat public account saying that, affected by Typhoon Mesak, the 10th typhoon of this year, many parts of Guangxi experienced severe rainstorm and flood disasters, causing a certain number of casualties and property losses. On July 6, the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Committee activated a Level IV national disaster emergency response. The funds will be mainly used for postdisaster emergency recovery and reconstruction of damaged roads, water conservancy and other infrastructure, as well as public service facilities such as schools and hospitals in the disasterstricken areas, to help local areas restore normal production and daily life order as soon as possible.
