Park Mo, the daughter of former special prosecutor Park Youngsoo, who had been summarily indicted on charges of receiving preferential treatment during the apartment sale process in Daejangdong, will receive a formal trial. According to the legal community on the 5th, Criminal Division 27 of the Seoul Central District Court referred Park, Lee Sungmoon, former CEO of Hwacheon Daeyu, and Yoon Mo, an acquaintance of Lee’s former wife, who are accused of violating the Housing Act, to a formal trial on the 4th. The case was assigned to Criminal Division 9 of the same court. The prosecution had summarily indicted them at the beginning of last month, seeking a fine of 5 million won for Lee and 3 million won each for Park and Yoon. Park was found to have purchased an apartment in Daejangdong in 2021 at about half its market price, gaining an estimated profit of around 800 million won.
