Multiple successive county party secretaries in Qinyuan, Shanxi, come under investigation

On June 27, the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision announced that Wang Yusheng, former Standing Committee member of Changzhi and former vice mayor of the Changzhi Municipal Government, is under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation on suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law. Wang Yusheng once served as Party Secretary of Qinyuan County in Shanxi, and later also held positions including Standing Committee member of the Changzhi Municipal Committee, Minister of the Propaganda Department, and vice mayor of the municipal government.
The report also mentioned that in recent months, several officials who had previously served as Party secretaries of Qinyuan County have been investigated. On June 2, Zhao Yongjin, Party Secretary of Qinyuan County, was reported to be under investigation; on June 24, Li Dingfu, former Party Secretary of Qinyuan County, turned himself in and is under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
