Chinese Ministry of National Defense spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang said that on June 8, the 13th strategic dialogue between the militaries of China and New Zealand was held in China. The two sides had candid and indepth exchanges on international and regional issues of mutual concern, and expressed willingness to further strengthen pragmatic cooperation.
Zhang Xiaogang said that this dialogue helps enhance mutual understanding and trust and promotes continued communication in the militarytomilitary relationship. In response to a question regarding South Africa, he also noted that the militaries of China and South Africa are deepening cooperation in areas such as strategic communication, institutional development, professional exchanges, and education and training.
