The global girl group KATSEYE, formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, simultaneously released their new digital single “Animal” worldwide on the 24th. The song is a pop track led by the members’ vocals and a strong hook, expressing the instincts and wild image hidden behind the stage.
For this release, overseas producers including Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, Blake Slatkin, and Omer Fedi took part. The music video visually captures the clash between reason and instinct by using office spaces and red contrasts, and Demi Moore made a cameo appearance, drawing attention.
KATSEYE is a multinational girl group formed through the survival audition program “The Debut: Dream Academy” and is currently active mainly in the United States. They are set to release their third EP, “WILD,” on August 14, and will also kick off a world tour covering North America and Europe starting in September.
