On September 17, the State Council Information Office held a press conference in the "Starting Strong in the 15th FiveYear Plan" themed news conference series. Wang Xiaoliang, Director of the Network Audiovisual Program Administration Department of the National Radio and Television Administration, introduced at the meeting that in the first eight months of this year, 430,000 micro short dramas were launched nationwide, about 13 times the number for the whole of last year.
Wang Xiaoliang said that among these released works, AIproduced dramas accounted for more than 90%, reflecting that artificial intelligence technology has been widely used in the creation of micro short dramas.
