AI for Everyone, slated for official launch later this year… Expanding accessibility and narrowing usage gaps remain challenges
AI for Everyone beta in October and official launch in December, providing free AI services across everyday life Check out the usage methods being prepared by KT, Kakao, and SKT, as well as AI education support
The ‘AI for Everyone’ service is expected to go through a beta version in October and officially launch in December. This service is intended to allow anyone to use AI for free across everyday life, including public services, welfare, shopping, education, healthcare, and real estate, and it is also one of President Lee Jaemyung’s campaign pledges.
The business operators, the KT, Kakao, and SK Telecom consortium, are preparing the service based on each of their platforms and technologies. KT is emphasizing linkage with portal, shopping, and real estate services; Kakao is highlighting convenience based on KakaoTalk and phone use; and SK Telecom is promoting its execution service that combines phone calls and text messages as a strength.
However, apart from improved service accessibility, the gap in actual usage capabilities is still being pointed out as a challenge. The government and industry plan to expand AI education and supporter assistance together to lower barriers to use for informationvulnerable groups.
