On August 5, the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Meishan City, Sichuan Province, reported that Wang Feng, former executive deputy secretary of the Meishan Party Working Committee of Sichuan Tianfu New Area, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and has voluntarily turned himself in. He is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
The notice also disclosed Wang Feng's career history. He worked in local posts in Sichuan for a long time, having served in Renshou County, Danling County, and in multiple positions in Meishan City. From July 2025 to July 2026, he served as executive deputy secretary of the Meishan Party Working Committee of Sichuan Tianfu New Area.
