China Ecological Culture Forum Held in Guangdong

On June 4, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment held the 2026 China Ecological Culture Forum in Guangdong, under the theme "Culture nurtures lush waters and green mountains, building a beautiful China together." The forum focused on exchanges on the theory, policies, and practices of ecological culture. Representatives from relevant research institutions, local ecological and environmental departments, and culture and tourism departments, as well as writers, attended and spoke.
The meeting noted that in recent years, China has continued to advance the development of ecological culture, improve crossdepartmental coordination mechanisms, and promote ecological culture publicity and the creation of highquality works, so as to enhance public ecological awareness and the conscious adoption of action. Going forward, relevant parties will continue to strengthen ideological guidance, enrich the supply of public services, and explore more pathways for cultural empowerment of the green transition.
The forum also released the China Ecological Culture Development Report, launched a call for pilot initiatives to build premium ecological and cultural tourism routes under the "Discover the Beauty of China" program and the premium creation plan for ecological literature, and announced the results of the call for activities at Beautiful China checkin spots.
