Recently, the Henan Provincial Party Committee decided that Wang Song will serve as a member, standing committee member, and secretary of the CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee, and An Wei will no longer serve as secretary, standing committee member, or committee member of the Zhengzhou Municipal Committee. Public information shows that Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan Province. Wang Song was born in February 1971 and worked in Anhui for a long time. He previously served as district head and Party secretary of Yaohai District, Hefei; Party secretary of Mengcheng County, Bozhou; vice mayor of Bozhou; standing committee member and executive vice mayor of Ma'anshan; and deputy Party secretary of Huainan. Later, he also served as Party secretary and director of the Anhui Provincial Data Resources Administration, as well as director of the Informationization Development Bureau of the Cyberspace Administration of China, deputy director of the Cyberspace Administration of China, and deputy director of the State Internet Information Office. Before this new appointment, Wang Song served as a standing committee member of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and head of the Publicity Department. The former Zhengzhou Municipal Party secretary, An Wei, has already turned 60.
