Hyosung recruits new employees from humanities majors for the first time since its founding

Hyosung Group is conducting recruitment for new employees for the first time since its founding, targeting only liberal arts majors. This hiring round is open to those who have earned bachelor's or master's degrees from colleges of humanities and liberal arts colleges, as well as those expected to graduate this August, and the application period runs from July 13 to 22. The majors eligible for recruitment are in the humanities and language fields, including history, philosophy, aesthetics, Korean language and literature, and English language and literature. Hyosung explained that, as its global business expands, it needs talent with language skills, communication abilities, and a grounding in the humanities. The company said it will give preference to applicants who can work in global settings. Hyosung's overseas operations have recently grown from 106 sites in 28 countries in 2023 to 126 sites in 30 countries this year, and it produces and sells major products not only in the U.S. and Europe but also in India, Vietnam, the Middle East, and other regions.
