The first large-span continuous beam bridge of the third phase of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway Dual Line Ningbo section has been completed
The continuous beam bridge spanning G329 in the third phase of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway Dual Line Ningbo section has been completed, advancing the full line connection The key project with three spans and a 138-meter main span has been successfully completed, helping the main line open to traffic by the end of the year
On September 7, the continuous beam bridge spanning the G329 National Highway in the Ningbo Phase III project of Zhejiang Communications Group’s Hangyong Expressway Link was successfully closed. This is the first key control project among the five largespan continuous beam bridges along the project route to complete closure, marking important progress in construction and laying the foundation for achieving full mainline connectivity by the end of the year.
The bridge crosses over the busy G329 National Highway and adopts a threespan prestressed concrete variablesection continuous beam structure, with a main span of 138 meters. During construction, it was necessary to ensure normal traffic flow on the national highway while also dealing with multiple factors such as highaltitude work, temperature differences, and vehicle vibrations, placing high demands on construction precision and safety management.
Since the beginning of this year, the project team has advanced construction by reversescheduling the timeline, optimizing resource allocation, strengthening intelligent monitoring, and implementing standardized construction, while also forming a Party member commando team to join the hardfought effort. Next, the bridge will move on to followup work such as the bridge deck anticollision guardrails. The project is 26.15 kilometers long, and after completion it will serve the collection and distribution network of NingboZhoushan Port and ease traffic pressure on the eastern section of the Ningbo Ring Expressway.
