According to a report by China News Service on July 6, Liang Chaoping, former member of the Party Leadership Group and head of the Discipline Inspection Group of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, has voluntarily turned himself in on suspicion of serious disciplinary and legal violations and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
Public information shows that Liang Chaoping was born in November 1955 in Nanchang, Jiangxi. He previously served as deputy section chief of the Management Bureau of the Great Hall of the People under the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, deputy secretary of the Central Organs Discipline Inspection Working Committee, and director of the office, among other posts.
In June 2012, Liang Chaoping took up the post of head of the Discipline Inspection Group and member of the Party Leadership Group of the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
