Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration Launches Level IV Typhoon Prevention Emergency Response to Respond to Typhoon “Dolphin”
Zhejiang typhoon prevention emergency response has been activated, and the maritime safety administration is strengthening control over maritime traffic 28,000 warnings issued, over 5,800 vessels checked; timely attention to the latest typhoon prevention developments
At 17:00 on the 3rd, Typhoon No. 13 of this year, "Bailong", was located on the sea about 2,585 kilometers southeast of Wenzhou, Zhejiang, with maximum sustained winds reaching force 15. Based on the typhoon's latest track, the Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration launched a Level IV typhoon prevention emergency response at 18:00 on the 3rd.
As of now, the Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration has issued 28,000 warning messages through highfrequency calls, mass text messages, and other means, and has completed inspections of more than 5,800 vessels. Construction workers from projects such as the Hangzhou Bay Bridge project of the TongsuJiaoyong HighSpeed Railway, Guodian Xiangshan No. 1 Offshore Wind Farm, and CGN Xiangshan Tuci Offshore Wind Farm have begun evacuating ashore in an orderly manner.
The Zhejiang maritime authorities said they will continue to monitor the typhoon's developments and do a good job in typhoon prevention and safety for maritime transport and related projects.
